not sure how good a brand pendo is for tvs. they dont have a good name for their tablets and laptops.
at Target the 22" is $249 and the 50" is $549, sounds like $299 might be a discount
do these have any relation to the terrible pendo pads?
it's going to be a rebadged Chinese knockout, I doubt it will bear any relation to their other products (good or bad)
The pads don't bear any resemblance.
Each model probably comes from a different factory. The latest 7" tablet is quite decent, despite the earlier reputation. Actually, they still sell the other models, so beware.

My local BigW (Booval) have a Viano 47" full HD LED TV with PVR for $298.50. I have no idea how it compares to Pendo.

My store have one set up very poorly at the checkouts. I thought they were selling the display model but they have them out back. There's no TV's in the entertainment department.
The quality is horrible compared to my Samsung's but it's cheap for the bedroom.
Might go on the lookout for this one at BigW also. Anyone have one and know the dimensions of it, ie how wide is it, may be too big for my area.
Don't bother. The sound is awful. It's mono. I tried external speakers through the head phone jack but there's a lot of humming/buzzing. There's no option to output sound through AV. I hope they'll take it back.

I got a refund. I'm glad I scared you :) I'm not a fussy person. Trust me when I say the sound is really bad. Don't buy it. You'll regret it.

$20 worth it to me for bricks and mortar warranty. Especially for these no name tvs.
I bought two soniqs from jbhifi and when one developed a relatively minor fault 6 months later i returned it to my nearest store and it was replaced on the spot.
I bought one of these and I'm very happy with the quality. The sound is a little tinny though.
