Free Burgers This Friday 11am-3pm at Grill'd Norwood (SA)

520

Hi folks, the first SA Grill'd franchise is opening at Shop 13a Parade Central, 177-193 The Parade Norwood this Thursday i believe, and on Friday they will have free burgers from 11 to 3. Pretty nice burgers in my opinion, especially for a chain. Enjoy!

Had a burger from the Glenelg shop. Should be called Gristl'd instead.

? The Norwood one is the first Grill'd in SA unless you're thinking of a different burger joint?

  • +2

Yes the one in Glenelg is a 'copy' of the original QLD Grill'd. As a QLDer who is currently living in Adelaide I can vouch that a) these burgers are great and b) The Parade is a great spot to put the 1st shop. The shops in QLD have lots of entertainment and are very popular with the Uni crowds and also families.

    • I see. Does the QLD one have anything to do with the chain? The interwebs says that the first one of the franchises started in Melbourne

      • Yes and I was not aware that it started in Melbourne in 2004 so there you go. I checked the web. The guys in QLD make it sound like they started it but they are just franchisees.

    • So which burger do you recommend?

      • I like the QLD'er as I like pineapple on my burgers.

Just for anyone who doesn't know exactly where it is, (google maps isn't particularly helpful,) it's at the Hoyts complex, Corner of Parade and George St.

  • So should we all wear an ozbargain badge?

So does this mean that the burgers they sell look like the burger in the pictures for a change :D

I live just round the corner so for once I get to have freebies \o/ Adelaide is still a bit of a country town so we don't get the big smoke East Coast stores :|

    Cheers for the dealio.

Lel carn the Magpies! (And the Power!)

  • If this Grill'd is anything like the one at Bondi Junction, assuming they're all part of a chain, I wouldn't go there if they were free AND handing out a bottle of Grange (OK, maybe just…) to every customer. No wonder the BJ one is always empty! And there's nothing 'healthy' about them, so if you just like burgers, hav 'em, but don't think it's a 'healthy meal'.

Unlimited…meaning one per every person that comes in (no limit to how many people they serve) or unlimited meaning I won't need to buy dinner for the weekend because I'm living off 5,000 burgers I got for free?

Wow more people there than at a Crows home game

      • That's weird, considering the Crows average home crowd at AO is higher than Port Power. And as for AAMI stadium.. Need I remind you of the tarps? Lol.
