I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jamocha is in my opinion the best coffee that I've ever had. Although everyone's tastes are different and I drink latte's all the time (not a huge fan of straight esspresso).

It has ruined coffee shops for me because their coffee tastes like bland crap now.

    • Agree 100%. Have bought Jamocha many times from Mannabeans in the last two years.

      • I also agree. I've had about 10 different blends from manna beans including a few single origin blends and jamocha is still my favourite. Very smooth!

        • I guess it's very subjective. I had the Jamocha blend and didn't rate it all. Tasted like I was drinking a packet of cigarettes.

  • What do these all mean, just a quick explanation please.
Meaning is 11% moisture good and, say, 5% better etc…

    Screen 15/17
    Screen Size Grade AAA
    Moisture content 11.2%.
    Cupping score of 83.25
    Processing: Sundried, Washed

Screen size is the size of the green bean and then they are graded accordingly for consistency.

Moisture content is important to ensure the caramalisation during the roasting stage and as green coffee gets older it losses its moisture content and starts to turn yellow. This then reflects poorly in the cup.

Cupping score is an internationally recognized grading system set by the SCAA for measuring vaying factors in coffee including things like acidity, body, taste, defects in the beans etc Score is out of 100 and anything above 80 is classified as specialty, and above 90 is exceptional

The cherry has the fruit or pulp removed leaving the seed or bean which is then dried. While all green coffee is processed, the method that is used varies and can have a significant effect on the flavor of roasted and brewed coffee.
