  • Can't remember if I got the 10" or 12" but awesome deal and good service from these guys :)

Usually sells out quick at this price soo yeah… Keep that in mind.

  • Didn't you sell the 12" for like $278 during your last sale?

      Yes

(Obviously it was a very good deal at the time)

Hi JetLi - Yes we did however this was a one off, single item bulk discount and was in Cherry Only. For this particular sale we've been able to heavily discount a MASSIVE range of our Veldoyne Subs which you can view through the link (http://www.videopro.com.au/cf-337--velodyne-sale.aspx). We just thought this was one of the better deals as we had people asking for the same sub at a sale price since the one went up last year.

  • Awesome deal.. tell me.. which subwoofer in your opinion would mate best with electrostatic speakers? The room is only about 8 x 15m so quite small. SPL800iMINIV looks like a good contender? Thanks very much.

    • Hi peterpaoliello, yes that would be our first suggestion under the $1000 mark. Really powerful and a great frequency response for an 8" sub.

      • Thanks Maddie. I don't see it listed in the specs - is the SPL800iMINIV a sealed enclosure?

  • Does the down firing port on the 10" impact sub effect the performance when sub needs to be placed on a carpeted surface near the rear wall of a room?

Currently using a very old 10" front firing/ported sub which is greatly in need of upgrading. Yet don't want to spend too much since its only a smallish room.

    • Hi g12345567, it will affect it to some degree but low frequecies fair much better against absorbent materials than high frequencies. It would sound a little less lively on normal carpet and only really start getting worse to a really noticable degree on something like a shaggy rug.

  • Velodyne SPL-Ultra SPL1200UB Subwoofer

Can you do better on this price?

    • Hi chuneeperformance, it's priced pretty well at the moment so I'm not sure, but if you jump on LiveChat the sales guys will be able to have a look for you.

  • Hi REP, jumping on this late, my Klipsch KSW12 (http://www.klipsch.com.au/ksw-12-subwoofer/details), has given up, atm trying to hopefully getting it fixed (most likely power supply/amp), at time of purchase this costed over 2K, so I am not looking at spending that much. I want to match to my very old but trusty JamoD365 speakers, I believe they have 12" base drivers. They are driven by an Onkyo TXSr 701 (THXselect) reveiver. I am looking at your 12" suggestion for $478.50, in your opinion, will this suit me or will the 10" be good enough. Is that the best price you can do on the 12" delivered to melboune. My room is 6 X 5 meters. Also, I've never needed warranty (within the warranty period!), where in melbourne do I need to take should I need warranty cover?. Im in the western suburbs.

    • Hi ozf1, if your budget can stretch a little to the 12" sub, we think that will serve you better with those speakers in a room that size. Unfortunatley our current price is the very best we're able to offer on that one. And I believe there are one or two service agents in Melbourne so you shouldn't have to go too far in the event that you had to make a claim.

      • Thanks Maddie, will consider.

  • Thanks Rep. Was looking to buy a subwoofer. Was considering the Wharfedale SW150 and then I saw this. Bought one.
