  • :( not free delivery unless I add something to get it over $100

  • No Myer stores near me…anyone know where I can price match this from? Jb?

I was tempted to get one last time for my son, and this is really tempting me now.

I didn't want him having his own tablet @ 3 and a half, but this size is so good for putting in wife's bag for when we go to dinner, and we know he'll only have his own stuff on it.

    sigh

phew … wife just said our myer gift card is all used up, so might have saved myself there….

  • For me it says: "Sorry - this item is currently unavailable in the quantity you have selected" when I only selected one so I guess I may have to really go into the store.

Edit: NVM seems to be working now for click & collect.

    • not working for me (NSW)

  • My color too, but I already ordered one from TGG :(

    • Did you order online?

      • Yes, ordered on Sunday but didn't receive yet

  • called Melb CBD Store, they only have one display model left.

    • Fountain gate has stock.

  • Good to stack with Myer giftcard from scoopon

  • Bought it finally after trying to justify why i need a tablet.. oh anyway
just hope they validate my online transaction this time.

  • Thanks! Ordered one online. Grabbed a pair of shorts for $5 to get it delivered free.

  • None in stock in queensland it seems

  • none in VIC except fountain gate.

  • Cheers. Just bought the display model Pitt St, Sydney

  • When I click "PAY SECURELY NOW" after choosing payment method I'm getting:

CMN0207E The value of the parameter "storeId" is not correct.

    Anyone else getting this too?

    • For me, it worked when I changed the payment method from PayPal to Visa.

  • Sorry - this item is currently unavailable in the quantity you have selected

    • same here.. it's sold out.

  • Sold out it seems.

    • Thank goodness, I was trying so hard to resist since HN, TGG then this!! I checked the deal every minute and nearly bite it!!

  • has anyone bothered to read up about this model and see these have a ton of issues mostly relating not being able to turn it on, or not being able to charge it….. and only after a couple weeks!!

    • Was it a software issue or hardware?

      Reference?

    • I was going to get one but then looked @ Reviews on youtube.

  • I got one at TGG yesterday, and if you're looking for an affordable tablet, I'd definitely recommend it. I was in a situation where I didn't really need a tablet, but at $99 I couldn't resist. I haven't used it much yet, but so far it's definitely very responsive and snappy, especially for a $99 device!

Been bitten by cheap Chinese tablets a couple of times. Using the 10in version of the Asus memopad for the last few months. Must say this tablet is heaps better than the alcheapo Chinese brands sold at a lot of places. Just bought two pink coloured ones couple of days ago from the HardlyNormal deal.

Myers Brisbane CBD have the ASUS 10.1" Memo Pad FHD ME302C on clearance for $199. I was tempted, but reading reviews which detail many problems, I decided to wait until the 2013 Nexus 7 comes down in price. I was also unimpressed by the screen brightness, even at full.

Accessories (case etc) also seem to be scarce.

I've been using it for 6 months. I use it as an indoor reading tab, also a bit of gaming with an attached Xbox 360 controller, it's actually quite a fine device.

Don't forget the reviews you've read are based on 2013 prices, which would've been when the tablet cost $329+. At $199 though I'm sure most reviewers would change their tone.

You'd be hard pressed to find a 10" tablet with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory at the $200 price point, unless you're willing to consider a generic brand tablet from overseas.

    • It says $349 on the Myer's site. So it's only for Myers Brisbane CBD?

      • If you click the link above it shows me Reduced to clear $99 online.

        • I am talking about ASUS 10.1" Memo Pad FHD ME302C that Leonard mentioned for $199.

        • Ahh ok. Was gonna say that's weird

        • Bought the FHD 10" for $199 used the gift cards from Amex Vintage Cellars and Target offers and scoopon Myer e gift cards. The price tag still $349 but the sales person said straight $199 when I asked if it was on clearance. WA Garden City has a few left according to the guy served me.

    • The TGG deal came with an Asus case thrown in :-)

    Looks like its sold out

  • nooooooooooooo… sold out!

For any Perth ozbargainers interested, Carousel have 1 and garden city 4. Rest sold out.

  • Dont believe stock levels on the Myer website. It said the Myer Adelaide store had none but i work 5 minutes away so just went there and got the last one :)

I also read reviews online about it so got the $15 3 year extended warranty. Whats $15 buckd

  • initially i though of getting one but then i realized i dont really need one. Just coz its cheap i shouldnt spend 100 bucks.

  • Hobart Store at Macquarie St. still has 2 inside the glass cabinet, one is an untouchable display and another one is sealed.

Physical price tag still at $199, fortunately their computer read at $99. Sales girl told me online and in-stores often sell same products at different prices, when asked whether they would price match, they said they usually do not.

And 7 years after the fire destroyed Liverpool St's Myer, re-construction is finally underway but ONLY AFTER State Government and Local Government grant them a lot of tax payers' money, unbelievable.

  • Got the last one at Myer Tea Tree Plaza before. Mrs wanted one

  • i just got my one from the goodguys ordered on the day of the earlier deal. they actually included 2 trans cases together with delivery. its even better than i thought! very happy and highly recommend it.. best 99 bucks spent on this piece of technology whether it as a toy or for more productive purposes!

  • I am not sure just why this is listed as "Expired"?

Some Myer stores still have stock, and it is still $99.

A friend picked up one for me this afternoon from Myer Blacktown in NSW (I purchased and paid during a 'phone call to the store). My friend saw the Memo Pad, and liked the deal so much that he purchased one for himself while he was there.

    • Interesting. They've clearly got it listed as 'sold out' on their website.
FWIW my order was posted today. I did eventually manage to order one before it was sold out. I was getting the quantity error message but after trying later that day my order went through.

Seems like myer still haven't fixed their site after the boxing day fiasco.
