  • Nice deal. Can you please include the updated link for free Gear Fit? On Telstra website, it says "no Free Gift" (Orange circle on left corner)

    • Yep you're right, I went to sign up, application failed to send, go back and it's not showing, yet previous deal showed it should still be valid (promotion has another 2 weeks or so to go). About to live chat to see whats up!

    • The only promotions are AFL/NRL, headphones with z2 and iconic voucher. The other offer have been pulled.

  • Gear Fit promotion expired as I was submitting my application :( Still a decent price for Telstra. Optus are $74/month with 1Gb data, Virgin $63/month with similar inclusions as Telstra

    • Just FYI on Telstra, $50/month prepaid will give you $1000 cap credit, and up to 3.8GB of data with plus packs, and on top of that you're not tied for 24 months.

$40/month prepaid will give you $550 cap credit, and up to 2GB of data with plus packs.

      • Idea behind the post is those that cant afford the $600+ to outright purchase the phone. General purchase price in Australia is $800+ ($848 at GG, $898 at DSE), or even $699 at Kogan. Mobicity is $699. If the phone is $699 to purchase, then that leaves $44/month for the plan component of the above deal. And no need to buy credit each month, no need to outright purchase the phone.

For those that cant afford to outright purchase, and like me only want to upgrade every 2 years, $4/month for 2 years (or $96) isn't a huge amount to pay in interest to pay off a phone

        • Fair enough. Some people might not know about their excellent prepaid plans as well though!

      • " $50/month prepaid will give you $1000 cap credit, and up to 3.8GB of data with plus packs"
How much extra you pay for the plus pack?

Oh, I do apologise however the gear fit has been pulled out and is no longer offered.
      you: at 19:12:50
the offer was until today, correct?
      Kenji: at 19:13:31
Yeah it was suppose to be until the 30th of June.
      Kenji: at 19:13:54
However, due to cross company issues between Telstra and Samsung they have pulled it out.
      Kenji: at 19:14:03
      I'm very sorry for this.
