  • OP, do you know what chipset it uses

    • +2

Realtek, so no good for packet injection.

    • Confirmed with TP-Link, it is Realtek chipset.

  • nvm

  • Was $15

lol when? its been $9 at msy for as long as i recall (months) http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=TL-WN725N&s… were you really trying to flog these at $15?

$9 shipped is ok i guess if you need one shipped but most people live close enough to a pc shop to get then there for this price anyway.

also for anyone contemplating this with linux/debian/ubuntu, dont. there a pain in the arse to setup. i made the mistake of buying one….

    • Thanks for the StaticIce link. We were selling @ $15 with free shipping, now down to $9. And hope this can help those who do not live close to a PC shop :)

I was about to jump the gun and get it for my onkyo receiver, then realised that the website does not accept paypal and wants me to provide credit card details over non secure webpage…

oh well, I just saved $9.

    • Wow, that is bad. It is against PCI compliance to do that and can result in large fines from the banks (they pass fines on if you are non-compliant). More information at http://www.pcidssguru.com/encryption/ssl_tls_pci_dss/

That's all good and well, but the input page for the credit card details is plain text… Which is very bad.

        • I'm not entering CC details on a non-secure page.

          Can I pay via PayPal?

        • +1

I'd grab one if there was paypal…

  • Hi Rep,

    • +1
