      Well.. COTD doesn't specify. I asked live chat and they said it was the 'new' one. But knowing COTD, I wouldnt put my money on them. Just for comparisons sake though, I think the COTD deal is better.

        All the ones they sell at major retailers are 2.0 . It replaced the old one (referred to as 1.0). Only difference is a removable cable.

        I got a pair from COTD a few months ago and the cable is removable.
