I was searching for a similar deal to one that was expired few days ago…

    Any buffering issue on the Weltv at all? Including the US channels?

      On and off. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes it's not watchable. I don't watch it that much myself. It was for the in-laws and the Mrs. The WELTV video and audio quality is much better than TVPad. I personally couldn't stand to watch shows on the TVPad. But I'm fussy like that.

  Anyone knows if there is any difference between TVPad1 and 3

  Connection-wise?
  Video quality-wise?

  Just want to check if upgrading is worthwhile, as I doubt I would watch those extra channels or play any games or use VOIP.
