  • Not a bargain.

    • Yeah considering I purchased for $59.95 during launch date, and got a physical copy :)

If you've waited this long, wait a little more and it will probably be cheaper later on…physical and digital

If you wait that long, youd be better off waiting a little bit more on top of that, and it will be even cheaper than the cheaper price you speak of.

      • Unlike an apple product , there are only going to be #2 incarnations of this on psn ;)

  • Take a look at some second hand deals imo… today I bought a PS3 Slim 120gb, 2 controllers, 5 games including GTA V and GT5 for $100. My fat PS3 is going to storage as a backup and I can finally watch 3D bluray on my PS3 now.

Not a deal, considering that you can get a physical copy from Beat The Bomb for $40.41 delivered.

so how the hell can anyone how good it is on pc?
man theres some stupid ass comments on here some days.

          Depends if it was a poorly formed question, or ignorance. Comparing PC to consoles usually covers the following;

          • Graphics, Usually safe to say PC will look better
          • Online community & longevity, can't say until post release. Rockstar games tend to maintain an online presence for a very long time.
          • Gameplay style, third person cover based games are better on consoles in my opinion
          • Controls, Certainly people who have played the PS3/X360 versions would have an idea if the control system will translate well to a keyboard an mouse. Ignoring the obvious that PCs can use controllers.

Personally I would say it would be a game better suited to a console rather than PC primarily based on gameplay style and control inputs. I have always found games that have more focus on free-roam and casual play to feel more relaxed with a controller.
Note: I have not played this game.

        • i had it on ps3 i wouldnt attemtp to play with mouse and keyboard.
same as i play watch dogs with controller on my pc.

    • I should have elaborated my question more. Since I have never played a GTA title I didn't really know which platform is best suited for this type of game.

  • I considered posting this as a deal but it has been as low as $19 for a disc based copy (from EBGames of all places) so it didn't seem all that great, particularly since PS4/PC/XBone releases are around the corner.

Side note Ozgameshop have a fairly decent deal on GTA V pre-orders

    • PC (code) = $52.99
    • PC (disc) = $53.99
    • PS4 = $64.99
    • XboxOne = $64.99

$7 off the normal prices when ordered in the next 3 days with the code 'GOLD'. Not too shabby since they are the cheapest before the discount.

    PS.
The store description gives the running dates for the deal.

    Special offer price valid from 20-06-2014 to 10am GMT 23-06-2014 (Was: £49.99 / €69.99 / AU $109.95 / BGN 129.00 / CZK 1799.00 / DKK 549.99 / HUF 20990.00 / NZ $119.95 / NOK 599.00 / PLN 289.00 / SEK 639.00 / USD $95.99 / ZAR 899.00 / HRK 539.99 / INR 2799.00 / TRY 189.00 / ILS 399.00)
