Deuter Cross Air 20 Exp Ocean Silver - $78.95 Delivered (2-3 Weeks Delivery Time) @ The Active

40

I have been looking for a decent bicycle backpack, Deuter make great backpacks, this one has a suspended back panel to allow airflow on your back. This one appears current on the Deuter AU site, however there is potentially an updated model on the Deuter Europe site (green / red) that is sold on wiggle for around $20 more.

Google search shows there was a Groupon deal with these backpacks for Brisbane that has ended for the same price +- postage.

There are also other models, this one also seems like a good deal @ $98.95 delivered:

Delivery is stated as 2-3 weeks from end of sale.

I would appreciate if you use my referral below to sign up (I get $10 on a purchase apparently :) ):

good deal. bad colour. bad website. I'm in the market for backpack for cycling, but aiming for sub $50 price.

  • That looks very tempting. I've been using the Deuter Race Exp Air (12 litre) for commuting for a while now, superb rucksack. The mesh 'Air' back is brilliant, holds the main pack off your back well and allows for plenty of airflow.

FWIW, I have both the 2013 and 2014 models of mine, I prefer the 2013.

    • another vote for the race exp air - it's an incredible bag and the extra air flow along the spine and distribution of weight combine to make loads feel significantly lighter.

  • I have a deuter hiking backpack and a daypack … best backpacks ever. Super High Quality.
My daypack got once stolen and found 3 months later in a river somewhere in Queensland … still in perfect condition (after removing all the dirt and mud).

  • Deuter is pretty good, but I personally found Vaude to be better. Just small attention to details got my vote but otherwise I would have been very happy with Deuter. They're not very easy to find in Australia.

    • Agree … Vaude is also a great quality brand :-) … personal preference … Deuter … Vaude … both great!
