      I know! Never had any problems with orders from Grays though and my order of 6 items (I left some for the rest of you) went through fine this time too.

    Anyone else having issues with their ordering system not obtaining phone numbers properly from paypal? Keeps saying enter mobile number when paypal already has it! Grrr!!!

    Edit: nevermind, turns out they never obtain the info from the paypal submission and uses the one from your account info. All my cart items gone due to this mess :( >.<

          TLDR; Grays Online (the auction version of their company) had a pricing error and gave everyone $50 no min spend vouchers as an apology.

          Deal posted Friday 25/1/13. Emails sent explaining issue Tuesday 29/1/13. Refunds received around Thursday 31/1/13. $50 vouchers issued.

          That isn't that bad.

          They withdrew tens of thousands of dollars of money from people's accounts from the 25th to the 29th. They allowed items to contunually be relisted as in stock. Their customer service said there wasn't a problem until around the 28th. You consider that ok?

          Yes. Price errors do happen from time to time.

          How did they withdraw tens of thousands of dollars from people's accounts? I'm quite sure people willingly paid it to them knowing full well that it was likely to be a price error. Be realistic. They were current-model lenses - there is absolutely no realistic reason why they would ever be sold at those prices. I'm sure everyone who put an order in knew that it probably wouldn't be honoured. If not, they need a reality check.

          Did you forget that it was a long weekend? The deal was posted on Friday Jan 25th at 5pm, Australia Day was on Saturday, and Monday was a public holiday.

          Tuesday was the first day back to work after the deal was posted, and they sent the apology email out that very day.

          Their customer service said there wasn't a problem until around the 28th.

          Really? You contacted their customer service during the long weekend and they replied on a public holiday? What exactly did they say?

          So - you were completely aware that it was an error, and you were hoping they somehow didn't notice it. Even then, you felt you were totally entitled to get the lenses for the obviously-incorrect prices, even if Fair Trading didn't agree with you.

          I'm not arguing anything with you, I'm just stating the facts to assist others in deciding how much weight to give to your comments about that deal.

    i think tracking numbers are generated automatically.

    Last time i ordered an item, i was sent a Toll IPEC tracking number but it got delivered with Aust Post with a different tracking number
