[3DS] StreetPass Mii Plaza Games (Squad, Battle, Garden, Mansion) $5.20 Each or $13 for All

190

The link provides currency in Euros and Pounds but I can confirm Australia is also having a discount on these titles. This is the first time these titles have been discounted. Normally they're $19.95 for all I believe.

For those who don't know, these are extra games that are available for Streetpass Mii Plaza. For more info, see the official Nintendo webpage.

To purchase, enter the Streetpass Mii Plaza and go to the Shop.

Note: You can only buy the combo pack on the first purchase.

    Which platform ???

    • +1

It's for Nintendo 3DS. I have it in the title.

  • In the title it says 3DS. There aint street pass on the other nintendo platforms as they aint portable. They have spotpass though. Oh and the games are quite fun. Hard to do without regular streetpass hits though.

    • One of the best parts of PAX Aust last year was all the street passes. Now I get maybe 1 a month :( (not that I really take my 3DS anywhere).

  • Buying it tommorow !!!

  • I wouldn't recommend Garden (not on its own anyway), but I do like the others, in particular Battle.

Note that they are all very dependant on you making use of Street Pass to detect other 3DS owners before you can actually play the games. If you aren't going to carry your 3DS with you or live somewhere remote then these titles may be a bit of a waste. You get far more value if you use Street pass a lot.

  • Does anyone know when you buy the games, does it use the previous street pass hits already on the 3DS, or only use new hits after purchase?

    • New streetpasses only.

  • My favourite is Monster Mansion, least favourite is Garden. Why the dude needs to speak so much, I don't know…

  • Sweet, will probably pick this up. I manage to get a fair few streetpass hits, both my housemates have 3DS' and I get a heap of hits at Uni.

    • Same. If you don't mind me asking, what uni do you go to? :P

  • I see the prices for individual ones for $5.20, but I can't seem to find a combo pack. Am I missing something? I haven't bought any of them before or anything else online through Nintendo for that matter.

    • When I purchased it today, they were very upfront about it. Once you show interest in any of the games, they'll tell you about the combo pack. I'm not really sure how to help you. :\

Pick a random game, then select the "I want to buy it" option…it then mentions the combo price.

      • Thanks for that. Now to actually get some ninty credit.

  • If you change your wireless router name to "_The Cloud", your 3DS will think it went past a Nintendo Zone hotspot. You'll get 6 street passes every 6 hours iirc. It's good when you go to work and come home (and live in a town where there aren't many 3DS's). Note, this is the European NZone so you'll get heaps from the UK and Germany. I think you can trick your 3DS into thinking it went past an American NZone too.

If you buy all the games, do you have to grind through each one to clear your queue or can you just choose do to say the puzzle app then get new passes without doing the quests?

    • Thanks for mentioning this. Just picked up a 3DS and it wouldn't let me purchase as I hadn't picked up my first street pass hit yet.
