I was able to buy one in store, they might rain check or other stores can price match.
Big W does not do rainchecks
I found that for expensive Lego models (e.g. Lego Movie Sea Cow) that these are kept in a locked room out the back and that you need to find a staff member and explicitly ask.
Only for items within their catalogue.

How big is the house once built?
Have a look at the character minifigs.
They all look stoned.
I tried Marion, Goodwood and Arndale in Adelaide (if you can call them in "Adelaide") today without luck.
Ended up ordering from Amazon, was $262 using Amazon's sort of lousy exchange rate, probably less using $USD on my 28 Degrees Mastercard.
Anyway, my search is over, but good luck to anyone who finds one locally.
