Tax and duty Fee helpppp

Recently I purchased an Apple MBA 13 (link below) for $850 (orginal price $1050). I am aware that goods over $1000 AUD are subjected to tax duty fee, however this is not the case as I paid $850 from the 20% ebay discount for it. Will I still be charged tax fee for it as it is under the $1000 range?
Thanks

This is a false statement if your purchase(s) were made from Kogan HK Pty Limited.

Kogan HK Pty Limited does not collect nor remit Australia's GST to the Australian Tax Department. Nor does this Hong Kong company pay any other Australian taxes such as any company taxes.

Please check the listing(s) from where you made your purchas(es). If there is a statement like this:-

"This Product is offered and supplied by Kogan HK Limited pursuant to the Terms and Conditions."

It means that you purchased from a Hong Kong supplier. In this case you are the importer, and you are responsible for any GST that may be applied to the importation. Fortunately the Australian Government has decided that they will not collect GST on importations that are valued under AU$1,000.
