So I normally go to the Chadstone Hoyts as its close by and get to make use of the Optus $10 deal. However since its going to be closed for 2 years I was looking at ways to get myself the slightly more expensive $11 Tickets for Village from Telstra.
Not having any sim cards etc with them, I wanted to confirm if getting a $2 sim and not recharging it will enable me to get the rewards.
If not What are my other options, wait for a $10 prepaid sim with $30 credit etc?
How long does it take to get on to the rewards site after activating the sim.
If I'm looking to go watch a 9pm show tonight will it be long enough?

I think as long as you have a Telstra account that is linked to a number (i.e. $2 Sim would work), you can use the Telstra $11 movie tickets through their website.
