Not sure a Shiraz with undisclosed pedigree can be a 'deal' at $44.90 no matter what it's rumoured to be…:-(

  • Turners Crossing is one of the local wines where I work. It's a superb wine without a doubt, and the 2009 drop sells for about $25. 2006 in particular, and to some degree 2007, were some of the best wines as it was the peak of the drought.

  • how do people guess what wine it is?

    • This one was matched to winecompanion site. All the details and rating matched up.

    • If there is sufficient info given, as in this case, it's not guess work, just a little detective work for those that subscribe to a few wine review sites, like Wine Companion and The Wine Front. Most of the decent reds can be identified within about 10 minutes of the email landing if the info is there.

  • Oh ok…I thought $49.40 for the whole pack of 6.
Can't afford. Would rather go a scotch for this sort of money :D

    • Really?? I thought it was pretty clear it was $269.40 for the six. Can you recommend a better way of saying this?? As for opting to buy scotch instead… This is like saying bananas are too expensive at the moment so I will buy an onion :)
