  • Please put "speakers" in the title, as not everyone recognises the model number.
Not sure about refurbished speakers myself, but at least they are very cheap.

    • ok done thanks!

Nothing personally against this deal but RRP of $1400 in aus MSRP OF $300 in USA.

  • I think you'll find this is $200 per speaker, not $200 for the pair.

yea i thought that too, but in their main web page it said sold as a pair

      • Cheers. Just spotted that. Wonder what they exactly mean by 'refurb'. Looks like a great deal on the surface.

    • usually consumer speakers comes in pairs.. only pro monitors are sold in singles

  • If I was looking for cheap speakers I would buy them for $200 can't go wrong at that price, especially for floorstanding speakers. These speakers are used in some of Yamaha's 5.1 receiver and speaker packs, the combo's sell for $1500 to $2000 at various stores incl. HN & TGG

  • Tempted to switch out my old series iv bose 201 s for these. Thoughts ozbaudiophiles?

Any time you can replace Bose speakers with anything - do it!

    • +2

Yes, Bose is rubbish compared to even half decent component systems.

  • Fairly predicable bose response, I'd more say overpriced rubbish. Bear in mind these are 1997 bose models too.

    • Dang, that didn't make much sense. Overpriced rather than rubbish is what I meant
