Why Crust Pizza is so tightarse?

The only proper Pizza I eat, is Crust Chicken Peri Peri Pizza. I can kill for it!

But why Crust does not have regular promotion? Very rare specials, some are posted here but its frustrating. Do you guys know about any deals/promotion/coupon being offered by crust regular basis throughout the year?

It's up to them lol. But if I had a customer who would go as far as killing for my product, I probably don't need to discount it. On the other hand, if I were a McPizza shop with equally cheap and nasty competition all around, I need to try and lure those scummy, unloyal customers (re: ozbargainers) into my shop with discounts.

  • Entertainment book has deals for crust if I recall

    • We have a deal book with a few Crust deals in it. Also had Ribs and Rumps deals in it, Mammoth Monster Meal yum yum.
Might be the Entertainment Book because the one we have defiantly had Crust in it.

      • mmm ribs and rump…

You see, eating ribs and rump is very much like making love to a beautiful woman.

        • @cheapy:
You know… left, down, rotate sixty-two degrees, engage rotor

    • What is "Entertainment Book"?!!

WHAT !!!!!! change your username, immediately :)

        • May be you are right, it might be a noob question. But what it is actually and how does it work?

        • @bargainaus:

          I was just kidding :)

It's basically a booklet of voucher mainly for foods that you purchased for around $60. The proceed goes to charities.

If you like to dine out, you can recoup the cost in 2-3 outings.

  • Have just moved house and notice Crust is now on my local menulog.
They have 10% off orders placed through the app and also they do meal deals.. which i had never seen before.
my previous suburb didnt have crust deals at all so i guess it comes down to each store determining if they want to offer any deals at all.

I think delivery was free if you ordered online.

Yeah, I think ordering 2+ pizzas deserves a free drink at the least.

i can't bring myself to pay $16.00 for a basic pizza, just can't do it, no matter how nice some of them are…

Just because they don't have deals doesn't make them tightasses?

Crust at East Gosford has 2 for 1 pricing for large pizzas on Tuesdays 6-7pm

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/126422

This is all we need as only go about once a month.

They also have a $10 lunch deal for small pizza + drink on Fridays 11am-2pm.

    • I vote the Crust at East Gosford as the best! The stores at ACT region are permanently constipated… :(

  • +1

maybe because their target demographics are not exactly tightarses like you OP

i.e. they dont need to set up deals to entice their customers

    • +2

      tightarses like you OP

You say that like it's a bad thing :(

      • so Crust Pizza being a tightarse is a good thing, especially to fellow tightarses :)

  • +2

Lol they could say the same thing about you op. "Why is bargainaus such a tightarse?"
Except they wouldn't kill for you.

    • +1

lol yeah "who is the tightarse??" exactly :)

    • +1

They wouldn't kill for a customer?!?! Such poor service these days.

  • My local Crust is fantastic, nil charges for changes or additionals… Will jump my pizza ahead if i walk in bwfore it's ready and free addition of sauces/toppings since i told the owner, "Go for it Boss, do what you like… I trust you"

Although I might have the best Crust pizza place in the state :D

    • Crust itself is best in Australia when it comes to Pizza, if only they had some decent regular deals…
