Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 4G (P605 16GB) $605 @ Optus (Price Match at TGG $576.20)

40

I have been awaiting AUS stock at an appropriate price on this tablet since 2013.

Found that optus was bundling with their prepaid service for 24months at 720.00, but will sell that tablet outright with month to month service for $605 ($5 for the first months service after which you can cancel)

Price match this at the TGG who have it up for 749 (assuming they price match the 605) brings the price 576.20

Happy bargaining.

Can vouch for this tablet. Had one a few months, and still haven't had a problem.

If only the 4.4 update would hurry up!

The biggest reason to not consider Samsung is their slow updates. HTC has in the past few years really picked up their game and started with quick updates. In saying that, stupid me keeps buying samsung.

      • HTC don't even manufacture tablets !

        • yes but they do manufacture android devices. And their updates have been much quicker than samsung devices

      • I think unless you're going for the nexus range, Sony are probably the next fastest in proividing updates.

        • Nope htc has once again promised next android version within 90 days

        • @astarman:
If you want super quick updates to your smartphone, look for the Apple logo on the back of it.
          Hell yeah :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • im not so sure TGG will price match as this is still with a plan even if it a month to month?

  • Can you post a receipt?

With the new Samsung tabs already announced and taking per-orders, i would personally wait.
I owned one of these devices and thought it was too heavy for every day use.

    • YMMV, but I prefer a little weight, so I know I haven't left it behind. It's hardly a behemoth at 540g.
