From my subjective experience I'm not a fan of these canalphones mainly due to troubles getting a sealed and comfortable fit in the ears. It was possible to get a reasonable audio quality for talk radio shows with a comfortable though not sealed fit but then they were bad for anything that benefits from having bass recreated by the speaker. Which is basically anything other than talking.

If you could fix the seal issue I'd rate these as pretty good for the price.

  • On first impression these are great!

unfortunately i've gone through literally like 5 pairs and the problem every time is after a few months, the left ear bud blows out because of the wires. Maybe its wear and tear but if you want something that will last definitely not these.

But then at this price point how can you complain?

you can pick up a pair of pioneer in ear ones for around 15 which i bought the other day
    hope these pairs last

but yeah you wont regret this buy!

bought these when they were $4.98 delivered. not that impressed with the sound (barely-there bass) or the quality (super-skinny and flimsy cables) but for the price they're good enough to have around as a spare. but i wouldn't pay more than $4.98

    • average quality, ok price. they usually come down to $5 (delivered) every once in a while if you're willing to wait

i personally prefer the Logitech Ultimate Ears that sometimes goes on deal for $5-10 delivered.

OR i recommend putting in that extra $7-10 and getting the $15 earphones deals from Meetronics or Brainwavz etc. that usually get posted to Ozbargain.
