No, it says every second coffee is free, implying that there are multiple "seconds", and nothing about per day.
Anyway, I can't edit the post because it's complaining about changing a McDonald's domain which I never added anyway, so I'll just have to hope that if anyone is confused, they read this: buy a coffee, get the card stamped, get a free coffee, get the card stamped. Rinse and repeat. No, you don't actually have to rinse. And you don't have to repeat.The card clearly states YOUR second coffee is free.. not the 2nd coffee of the day that they make.
Thanks for the clarification! I was wondering how I was going to get the second choice they serve for the day…. Stay overnight in a hotel, wake up early and catch a taxi into the city before the trains start running…. Then what would happen if I actually got there too early and ended up first in the queue? I could graciously let the next person in front of me but then what if they had the same idea as I? We'd be jockeying around each other, trying to get the other one to stand in line before us…. Oh boy what a pickle I could have gotten myself into…
Yeah we got it the first time JV. On the flip side though if you could actually find a way to actually really exploit it you will most likely get in excess of 1000 +s.

Guessing you could buy a small cheap one and get your card stamped. Then line up again while drinking your coffee to order a huge more expensive coffee using the card.
Hello everyone, i am the Area Supervisor for this store, there are no hidden catches it is simply buy 1 coffee and the next time you can get a free coffee. Or you can buy 1 get 1 free. On the front of the card it says we will shout you every second coffee free.
You must have a McCafe card which we have plenty in store.
