Been addicted to energy drinks for years, recently changed my addiction to coffee as it's cheaper - the OzB way.
I'm a huge coffee drinker too but my friends prefer energy drinks, maybe it's because any extras pair well with Jägermeister.
Grab one of them and put it in the fridge, then go and do your food shop then pick it back up from the fridge on you way out and there you go, 4 cold red bulls ;)

It takes a long time before the drink actually gets cold.
Unless Red Bull is REALLY cheap, I just can never justify it over Mother, considering that's regularly on sale for $7 for 4x500mL cans (so $3.50/L for Mother, $6/L for Red Bull). Even the regular price of Mother ($10 or $5/L) is better than this.
Although that all depends on which you prefer I guess.. for me, Mother is better than Red Bull.
I'll get Mother if it's cheaper, but Red Bull is the superior energy drink.
Monster is best to me. 4x500ml @ $8.
I hate Red Bull. Mother is the best for me. V is a close 2nd, but seriously I don't get WTF all this love for Red Bull is about. That shit only tastes good if you mix it with a lot of vodka. I think you all been brainwashed by their marketing.

I can do better. I have a CM gift card for $10 less, from AMEX Westpac Target deal, and a staff discount for 5% off.
But I prefer the V tropical punch.
Does this stuff work for you guys? It does nothing for me. I can still fall asleep right after drinking a 500ml can.
Not really a huge effect on me in terms of alertness and energy level but there is tiny difference. Although that could be psychological. I don't prefer a particular brand over another, I'll get whatever is cheapest at Coles.
Anyway, I researched before on the net, some of the coffee drinks they sell at Starbucks etc. contain more caffeine than energy drinks.
the little monster nitrous cans work best for me. but i only ever drink 1-2 cans of whatever size per week
