  • I wonder why they never made these packs for the 5c, maybe not enough demand, pity, I would have loved one for my 5c =(

I wonder why they never made these packs for the 5c

I read that they interviewed all 23 owners and only 2 were interested…

  • So does this essentially just keep your phone on charge until the cases battery runs out then its just the iphone battery? Meaning your phones battery gauge would stay full until the case is flat?

    • +3

No, you turn it on when your phone's battery is low and it charges it back up.

Does anyone have one of these exact cases that can comment on battery life, I take the listed MaH from generic battery's (in this case, case manufacturer) with a grain of salt.

I bought one of these last time. It's modelled on the Morphie Juice Pack Plus. Even the packaging is similar. I can't remember the actual capacity but it charges my iPhone 5 from about 20% to just about full. My wife has the genuine Morphie Juice Pack Air and I think this one has slightly less real world capacity.

My one had a little bit of a fit issue - when my iphone goes it, the front surface of the iphone is not fully flush with the case.

Nevertheless, I'm happy with it, considering it's $25 vs over $100 for the geniune one. I don't use it everyday as I have my phone plugged into my laptop at work for juice, and don't need the extra bulk. But I use it travelling and it serves it's purpose well.

      • Cheers, real world reviews kick the crap out of manufacturers claims.

  • i dont know. if you want one for travelling - id reccomend the slab ones for the same price but way more capacity
eg romoss 10,000 mAh for $30, charges my 5S three times over and about hte size of two iphones

  • seems this is not the one from mophie

    • yeah I think so too. it says 'generic' in the manufacturer field.
