Noticed today at KFC Macarthur Central, Brisbane.
Confirmed working in SE QLD, unsure about other states since the owner is different.
Steps to claim your free regular chips and drink

  1. Buy something inexpensive and ensure you get the receipt
  2. Within 72 hours of step 1, go to kfcfeedback.com.au and fill in the details from the receipt
  3. Fill in a quick agree/disagree survey about your recent visit
  4. Write validation code you get from the survey to the receipt
  5. Bring the completed receipt to your next KFC visit. Terms and Cond says you need to spend $4.95 at your next visit and you'll get the free chips and drink. If you spend $19.95 you'll get large chips and drink.

Edit: I just filled the survey and its really basic, takes less than 1 minute. Might as well fill it properly so they know which store aren't giving optimal service.

      Never noticed any written signs about this promo on my previous KFC visits. Today there was a small poster on the counter indicating the promo. The receipt is different too, it has 'FREE CHIPS AND DRINK' printed on top.

    Have been filling the surveys for a long time.
    This promo has existed for at least 2 years.
    It used to be printed on the cashier counter placemat.
    In later stages, it was stuck onto the customer side of the cash registers.
    At some stores, it's printed in red on the back of the receipt.
    Nothing new.

      Pretty much never, and also your receipt is valid indefinitely as well, so just fill in one right before you go buy something.

      Edit: they also never really checked the code. Sometimes I think if I could just make up a number lol

      According to the small poster at the counter, its 14 days after you fill in the survey.
      I've been redeeming the voucher every time so all I need to pay for lunch is the burger / chicken.

    I tried this a week ago at George St, Town Hall KFC. The manager said the promotion had expired. Then they gave me a new receipt with a request to do the survey. Dodgy.

    Got 5 burnt chicken pieces of 9 when bought 9 for $9.95 the manager said he'd send me a 5 piece coupon but never received

      I think it's just a way for them to get rid of the complaint. I had similar issues with maccas: realized that they forgot to give me a big Mac only after arriving home. Called them up and they said they will mail me a coupon, they never did.

    I brought my receipt with survey number and the manager said he doesn't know what to do and asked me to come back next time. Is he freaking serious?!

      Which state are you in? KFC in QLD is owned by different company compared to the rest of Aus
      I been to 3 stores in SE QLD and they all accepted no questions.

    Hi,

    just wondering, where did you find the info - "If you spend $19.95 you'll get large chips and drink."?

    I went to the counter today, got free large chips and a drink, only knowing because the staff had told me when I went to order. My friend did the same thing, but they were given a small chip and a small can of drink and went to the same store as me at different times though and apparently 'my order' must've been a mistake since I was able to get free large chips and a drink.
