Uploading a product (books) more than once

Hi All,

Does anyone know if and how I can upload free book offers (via Amazon free promotion days) more than once?

About a week ago I tried uploading a book I've offered 3 months ago to OzBargain users (it was downloaded about 3,000 times!) and was denied by the site (I got a message I've already used the link pointing to the book).

My question is: Is there a way I can offer my books more than once to OzBargain users?

Thnx in Advance,
Asaf

  • You can either unexpire the deal or post a new deal if it was 3 months ago. The duplicate message is a warning and there will be a checkbox to acknowledge the deal you are posting is not a duplicate.

    • Neil,

      Thank you for answering.

Just to make sure I got it right:
      I have two options:

      • Un-expiring the deal + changing the dates to the current ones. This can be done under 3 months since this deal was last offered.
      • Creating a new deal for the same product. This can only be done if 3 months or more have passed this this product was offered.

      Thnx in advance,
      Asaf

      • 3 months was just the figure you used. Just create a new deal.

        • Got it!
          Thnx!

  • Far out stroganoffs, seems like there's been a lot of conflict in your life.
    Why all the beefs?

  • Neil,

I've just re-uploaded a book - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/148060 - on the post it was uploaded a few months ago (System didn't allow me to upload a new post stating the link to the book has already been used so I omitted the expired option in the old publication).
Yet, the book doesn't appear in the new deals hence have no exposure - can you please suggest a way OZbargain users can see this publication?

    Thnx,
    Asaf

    • Yet, the book doesn't appear in the new deals

You didn't post a new deal.

System didn't allow me to upload a new post stating the link to the book has already been used

It will warn you that it is a duplicate and then a checkbox appears where you click this is not a duplicate.

Well, anyway, the old deal has been updated so guess we'll leave it be.

  • Neil,

Thank you for a super fast answer.
There were no downloads so I kindly prefer, if possible, expiring the current deal and uploading a new deal.
If possible, can you please guide me to where I approve that this specific offer is older than 3 months when getting the 'used link' error message?

Thnx for your flexibility and consideration,
    Asaf

  • Cool, thank you.
