Found this on clearance at BigW Eastland. Great phone for less than 1/2 the normal price. Links to your mobile via Bluetooth if that is your thing. Range is supposed to be great and will not interfere with WiFi! Scanned at the wrong price at the register so had to do a price override.

Update: Just got the Bluetooth paired with my phone and it works really well. It uses BT to connect to the base so you can walk off with the handset as far as the phone goes (without worrying about BT range). Also has a handy USB changing port while you phone is sitting there.

    I think you may have picked yourself up a pricing mistake there morrisoc.

    Big W Jesmond (Newcastle NSW) had the XDECT 8115 +1 on sale for $68, and unfortunately they didn't have any 8155 models on the shelf.

    Anyway, congrats. That's a great price.

    Between us and a couple of other family members we have had 5 uniden phones. Without fail the batteries died just outside the warranty period. We don't bother with them any more.
