  • I went to Gold coast on last weekend. I bought my combo tickets for movie world, sea world and wet n wild 3 in 3 pass for $76 (at 15% off) using Dodo's infinite rewards membership. I thought I got a great bargain. But while doing shopping at surfers Paradise I found a discount tickets shop selling the same pass for 2 for $40 i.e. Just $20 each. I felt like an idiot for buying the pass online. So my sincere advice is to buy the tickets from the local discount tickets shops. I don't remember the exact address of the shop. But it's opposite to Condom Kingdom shop in Caville Ave, Surfers Paradise.

Only after you go to some timeshare meeting first, then only do you get them at that price.

in the shopping center in surfers Paradise? what their shop name like?

      • If they're willing to state it's near Condom Kingdom in their post I'm pretty sure they don't know the shop's name.

Aren't there normally plenty of these discount shops around?

        • but 40 for 2…never heard that cheap. normally only 10% discount.

        • @adpaholic:
Because you have to listen to their pressure timeshare talk for an hour.

  • any one in QLD can help to buy and ship to sydney? i can extra for your efforts.

    • You need proof of Qld residency to get "locals" discounts.
Cannot provide then tickets are void.

Those 2x $40 tickets require attending hour long high pressure sales tactics ect.

Their is a very good deal now on for Unlimited Entry until June 30 2015 with Groupon (http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/gold-coast/themeparks-com-au…)

There are no discounts currently available on single day entries, excluding some organisations eg. Entertainment Book ect.

Sorry got busy at work and didn't check OzB. The shop name itself is Discount tickets. I spoke to the guy in the shop and I am pretty sure there are no hidden terms. I thought it's because off session they are selling it cheap.

    Edit:

Even if you find any hidden terms and don't want to buy from the shop you can always book the combo passes online as they email you the tickets instantly. So I think it's worth giving a try.

    • No luck with googling "discount tickets" in Cavill Avenue.
Somehow I don't think that is the shop name but advertising sign.

I couldn't find it on Google Street View either. Must be opened recently. That's why I couldn't post the exact address.

        • They were selling some discount tickets inside the shopping centre there (next to Coles/Woolies). Also you see discount selling booths inside these venues … saw some amazing last minute deals to the (horse) Australia Outback Centre show next to MovieWorld when we were there last time, but we had booked ALL the parks, including DreamWorld and Wild Water World (all these WWW names becomes confusing) and Currumbin on the last day, so we couldn't possibly fit anything else in. Yes, just saying; pays to keep one's eyes open for last minute deals.

  • Search for VIP tickets (3 parks unlimited entry: SeaWorld, MovieWorld & Wet'n'Wild). I have been looking myself now (!) and we are not planning to go again soon! We usually book our flights early on a Jetstar sale then wait for those cheapo off season accommodation offers (first week in May), with plenty of time to check out the cheap tickets.

Shucks, we usually renew at themeparks.com.au … but a little disappointing:

    Groupon sounds interesting:

RACV (at last ditch effort for 3 park pass) is $80.99 (But 3 parks over 3 day period!):

Red Balloon Super 28 days pass $99.99:

    Various discount coupons:

This one offers another type of pass (different attractions) for $59.95 (Adult rate):

    •Infinity futuristic maze!
•Thrills and chills at Draculas Haunted House!
•360 degree views from SkyPoint Observation Deck!

Also, my understanding is if you stay at SeaWorld Resort, you have unlimited access to SeaWorld theme park.
