    Is this free forever?

  • +10

I know I'll never play it, but I don't care. I must have it! INCREASE…STEAM…LIBRARY!

    • You seem to get ~2 Steam XP points for every game in your library, if you are into levelling. There is a few minor benefits t being level 8 (or is it 10)?

      • I'm Level 8 but haven't noticed any benefits…

        • +2

The higher your level the higher chance you will get card booster packs. Level 10 is a 20% increase

      • +1

It's Level 10 for the benefits.

      • Cool. I'm almost level 12. Will check it out.

      • You don't get any XP from free to play games such as Saria. You also wont own it in your collection like a normal game; as soon as you uninstall it, it will be removed from your list.

  • How can I add it to my library? I don't want to install it right now, but if I can't add it to my library now, I will definitely forget it later.

You don't, it's free for ever apparently. Which is why this isn't really a bargain.

      • Things that are free aren't a bargain? What?

        • +1

          From the rules:

          NO Freeware or Free Websites.

    • +1

This is a free to play game (almost definitely) forever. It can't be added to your library like a normal game. You can just download it whenever you want in the future. As soon as you uninstall it, it will be removed from your library again.

Sorry but as its been aforementioned this game is and has been free for some time now.

No need to neg though. If you can find a better bargain, by all means, contribute to the site, but don't be a mean spirited ass and hand out neg votes for cases like this. Read the Wiki.

Please use negative votes cautiously and sparingly, as they can often discourage others from contributing. It is often better to not vote instead. The Voting Guidelines give some further explanation.

Please don't nitpick when somebody else is contributing to the site, when you have not contributed much yourself.

    • Actually it only just became free on the day I posted the deal Matt. At least get your facts straight.

  • My thought process, cool a free game, check if it has steam cards I can sell for free money. No… We'll never mind then.
Figure I don't need it clogging up my steam account.

For those telling me this shouldn't have been posted, I respectfully disagree. Whilst yes this game is now free, it has only just become free so it may be of interest to some people who wouldn't have forked out cash for it. My interpretation of the rules is that software that has ALWAYS been free, ie shareware and other free programs are not to be posted. This game does not fall into that category.

No you are incorrect. There is a place call the forum, you are free to post anything you like there. It also does the same purpose.

      • This IS a deal. I'm afraid it is YOU that is mistaken.

According to the rules and guide line game that are free permanently are consider freeware. Just be cause the game just became free doesnt make it any diferent to any of other game that are free permanently on the internet.

Using your logic, i could go around and post game from the 1980s as they use to charge money for them but now it is free.

        • @highdealer: Unfortunately, it seems Rupture is correct. If you look at the rules in detail they say posting software that is now free is acceptable to post. I only found out about this after my previous post here. I don't exactly agree with this myself as I still consider these sorts of deals to be a waste of space but I'm not going to argue against the rules.
