Review from one of the customers:
The torch is priced cheaply but it performs way above expectations. When I received it, I was happy to see the O-rings well lubricated and the ridges well cleaned (some of the aluminium casing torches you have to clean them properly before taking them underwater to prevent flooding from dirty shavings/dust particles etc). Took it down to 20m and the beam was a nice white colour. It is very bright but I think somewhere around 6-800 lumens - still for the price, it is a great torch. Only thing I noticed is the twisty switch which can be a bit of problem if you are not careful so do not over-loosen. I need a few more of these beauties!

  • not so sure I trust Banggood reviews; all products seem to have 5*'s, even the ones with 0 reviews !

    • Innocent until proven guilty. :)))
      0 negative reviews - 5 star product! :)))

  • I bought a similar one from Banggood for my bike, not waterproof, but very impressed with the quality. Only downside is delivery time from banggood, I waited more than a month for my last delivery.

  • Hmmm very interesting…would be interested to hear of any OzBargainers with personal experience with this…

  • Another torch! I'm not sure why I bought the previous us$3 one. Shipping can be slow.

    • Last torch arrived while I was posting. (10 days from order) That was quick :-)

  • Some deal details:

looks like a copy of my led lenser d14 (http://www.ledlenser.com/uk/flashlights/d14/). which takes normal AA batteries instead. would much prefer to have quality gear when underwater.

    • I hear it's an expensive experience, so saving money on a cheap torch may cost more than its worth. You don't want it to fail (at the OP's 20m) at night!

      • +1

Not really suitable for night diving as a primary or backup torch. Suitable for cray diving and as a 2nd backup torch during night dives though.

        Buying another one, thanks.

  • yeah I agree, there is no way this is 1600LM - I've bought 2000 LM torches before and they are not even half as bright as my 500LM spotter…

  • it does not look like it has adjustable focus, does it ?

  • I have 2 x of these.

    Great basic waterproof torch
    1 x 18650
My ones are tighten bezel = on, loosen bezel = off. Look identical to this one.
No strobe of dimming or any of that junk. Just a torch
Does not adjust focus. More of a thrower than a flood.
Triple o rings. It actually is waterproof.
All plastic, so excellent in saltwater in the boat or for fishing
    Normal t6 LED. Quite bright

Buy one………….. you know you want it……… Its only another torch……… Do it……

    US$7 is cheap.
