Selling electric toothbrushes

So I impulse bought an electric toothbrush, used it a few times and then got over it. Would it be considered unhygienic to sell? Obviously I'd clean it and remove the used brush head so the only part of the brush that I touched would be the handle. People re-sell epilators and things but yeah, thoughts? =/

  • epilators and toothbrushes… that's just nasty.

    • Haha, I probably personally wouldn't buy either as well but just curious about people's opinions. That's what I guess for impulse shopping. Sigh.

      • Well, the handle itself won't be called unhygenic in my opinion, as long as the savings is significant, I'm sure there may be a buyer, though it may take a little patience to sell since it's not everyday people look for an electric toothbrush.
Is it an expensive electric toothbrush? Or a cheapie?

  • Is it a decent brand? If it is i think you should list it on eBay. I'm curious as to what it would sell for / if it will get any bids.

    • Oral B 5000 and prices range from $100-$150 on eBay.

      • Oral-B have 180 days money back guarantee if you are not happy with it.

        • Ah, damn. Pretty sure it's been longer than that though. :(

        • @taniiah:

starts scouring BigW for leftover invoices lol or maybe friends who recently bought them

  • +1

sell it to Japanese people, they are already buying used underwears :)This will be your niche market cornered.

  • iirc sharing toothbrushes is a no-no. i'm sure someone would buy it at the right price. the buyer would want to disinfect it pretty thoroughly.

    • Lol well you can share the same electric tooth brush handle with family members and just have your own respective brush heads?
