Oral B FlossAction 6pk $19.92 Delivered $3.32 Each @ COTD

A bit suspicious after the reports of fakes with previous deals. Also the normal ones are $15 for 3 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Oral-B-Toothbrush-Replacement-Hea…) - I thought flossaction are meant to be more expensive?

Pretty hard to resist at this price.

  • Sorry but how much is the fake ones and is there any significant feature missing from the fakes?

  • $7.83 postage?
    ahh free shipping code

  • Given how some of the things I bought from COTD were from Thailand I wouldn't be surprised if these were grey stock too.

    • Grey Import (original)and fakes are not the some thing…..

  • Does COTD ship using Australia Post?

Bought some 'cheap' Oral B brush heads a few months back. The packaging and the heads looked (to me at least) exactly like the originals I had bought locally but were significantly cheaper.
After week of use the plastic stems of several of the heads split rendering them unusable. They could be a tooth and mouth injury risk and I would definitely not recommend.
Not sure about the origin of these ones but I wouldn't trust an online purchase of toothbrush heads again.
Buy at your peril is my advice.

The fakes were fakes and not worth the money paid. complete rubbish last time.

  • Bought one, hope they are not fake.

  • I bought as well. If they are fake, Im sending around the boys (pause for effect).
    The bikie boys

  • I purchased some awhile back on ebay, could tell they were fake. Not individually wrapped inside the packet and they didn't fade. Purchased some through COTD not long ago and they seem legit to me, fades properly, packed individually and lasting as it is supposed to.

  • Costco sell 10 for $20 makes $2 each.

FYI for all, I bought this same deal (2x Oral-B FlossAction Brush Heads 3pk) from COTD from their site back in April this year when they had free shipping, and can confirm that a side by side comparison to the one I bought at Coles (fkn rip off btw) is the same. This is specifically for the FlossAction ones, not sure about the standard heads.

I also recall that they are made in Germany, same as the one from Coles.

Also food for thought, I bought 3x (2x Oral-B FlossAction Brush Heads 3pk) from COTD and they arrived in a bulk pack wrapped in a white box with Oral-B branding on the white box. It's like a white lift off box, which leaves the bottom to become a stand to allow you to store on shelf (like how they do at the shops, if they don't hang them on racks).

I'd be confident to buy these from COTD again (as long as they don't charge shipping as that's always a deal breaker for me).

Edit: Btw I'm still using the same head from April and is still going strong (used twice a day). Although since reading this thread I realised that I should probably change it as the blue coloured indicator is probably close to the change mark already lol

  • Another thing with fake ones is that the bristles are sharp, and they cut gums, wouldn't want to put one in my mouth no matter how cheap it was. There was an article posted on ebay that I read about them some time ago.

  • We have been quite fond of the Spinbrush ProClean toothbrushes for years:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331222…

Can buy them here in Australia for $18.95.

We have had a problem finding the replacement heads though in Australia.
Can anyone give us a heads up on these?
Can buy replacement heads 6 for $36 on ebay from overseas although would rather buy here.
Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, Safeways, Coles don't stock them anymore.

    • Received an email reply from Your Discount Chemist, online or phone 1300 280 278, that although they do not stock the replacement heads for the Spinbrush Pro Clean they will do a special order for you and post them out.

Your Discount Chemist do stock the Spinbrush Pro Clean tootbrushes (use 2 AA batteries). We feel these are the best toothbrushes on the market and well worth purchasing. I always buy the replacement heads with "soft" bristles.

Ps. My 19 year old son has almost always used these and has perfect teeth; no fillings ever … I must add though that although he has a sweet tooth (like his mum) he has never liked sodas.

  • Got mine a couple of days ago. Looks like a legit Australian stock and made in Germany.

    • Same here, got it today and made in Germany too.
