Presumably this JPG came from the Repco website, thus the deal should link directly to that webpage.
I have posted 13 bargains using the same method of adding the pictures and never had any problems or complaints from users or moderators until now.
Also I have tried to change the picture that I posted which seems to be a problem now and it won't let me change it over it says I have to contact a moderator or something like that because of the domain name.
Posting to this site is becoming more trouble than it's worth.
Also is there a way to completely delete a post I have uploaded if I change my mind or i'm not happy with it?
I think this option should be added for people that post to this site.
@Converse1977: A direct link enables readers to get all the information, terms and conditions from the source, and to make an online purchase where relevant. It also connects the deal to the domain, which makes it easier for people to find related deals and see the store's history on OzBargain. And it should be simpler for you as it does not require you to upload anything.
You should be able to enter a new URL in the field, but if not a mod should be able to change it. There may be restrictions to prevent users changing domains in case they try to redirect to something malicious or offensive.
To have a post unpublished, use the Talk with a Moderator forum or contact scotty.
@HueyData: Thanks for all the help I have sorted it out now and in the future I will try and make sure to add a direct URL link to the bargain when it's available instead of just manually uploading the product image.
