What are some good ways for someone who knows nothing about cricket to get into the sport?
Introduce them to 20-20. I introduced a friend to cricket who knew nothing about it by taking him to a few BBL games last year. Tickets are cheap and once they're in the stadium they'll start taking interest. If you're watching it on the TV, they'll be like ah don't care. Usually for BBL, they hand out free stuff like hair wigs and flags for whatever team's home game it is. Get them to gear up as well and that makes them feel like they're going for one team and makes them curious about what's going on and if their team's doing well. Worked for me as now my friend now understands the super complicated concepts like 'an over', 'LBW', etc :) (Well these were complicated for him before anyway :)
