        Yep, all over again.

          Yep, all over again.

    • Its a trap!

  • Does anyone know if this is a good deal SteelSeries 5Hv3 Headset $68? Was looking at getting the Siberia v2

    • yeh i been looking for a headset as well. seems like a decent discount, but dunno if any good

    • I'm not sure whats up with the "was $93" since MSY have always been selling these for$80. It's a good headset and price from the looks of it. I think the siberia v2s are only good for comfort but not worth the price in terms of sound.

  • ALmost tempted to get this as an office kb until I read this review that said it was the worst kb you could buy to type on. Apparently the cherry blacks require massive actuation force.

    • I think die hard fans of the ibm m would disagree with that statement. The ibm has keys even harder than cherry greens and people still use it their typing keyboard of choice after twenty plus years.

If you are unsure which cheery keys suit you, you can get a "demo" from MechKB. That way you can test the keys out before making a decision into which keyboard you buy.

AND, if you actually don't mind the cherry black keys, you can actually buy a cheaper mechanical keyboard from Mwave.

Depending on the shipping costs, it might all turn out cheaper then the Steelseries 7G. I mean looking at the steelseries 7G, it looks like a generic keyboard with Steelseries slapped on it.

      Just my 2c.

    • whether you like it or not is highly subjective. some people type harder then others, but yes imo it does get tiring if typing a lot.
with mechanical keyboards, best to go instore and test all the types of keys…ie. clicky vs nonclicky, actuation force etc.

      • IMHO, anyone that can type fast on a membrane KB, you can type even faster on any cherry key KBs… why do i say that? i find i use a ton more force on the membranes at work then my cherry red KB at home AND i tpye alot faster on mech KBs…

    • I have a SS 6Gv2 with Cherry Blacks and I type all day on this KB. The lighter keys (such as reds on my home KB) are slightly nicer and faster to type on but you will be correcting many more errors.

I am under the impression that most serious typists prefer blue or brown for the click.

  • Just ordered a few items to pay on pick up. But I don't want them anymore. I hope I didn't waste their time holding them for me

still miss my Logitec dinovo keyboard (spilt too many drinks on it)… expensive but the best keyboard I've ever used, silly expensive. But flat and tactile response

    • Was so damn awesome, until I spilt water on it and killed it =(
I type like 2x slower now without it…

  • Anyone knows what chipset the Dlink DSL 2544N runs on? I tried to Google but no luck. Need one that runs on Broadcom chip set as I am 3.5km from exchange with TPG. Thanks!

I have a few 7G keyboards that were used as demos at expos. Happy to let them go for $75 each. Barely been used.
