  • oh damn it, out the corner of my eye i thought this was for a k800

was all excited there for a second… :'(

  • I had one of this. sound quality is OK'ish and battery life sux.
One thing good though is that it connects bluetooth and proprietary logitech dongle BUT not both. You can only choose one at a time.

    • +1

Mine still lasts 6 hours on anything but the highest volume, 2 years on. Charges from flat to full in 2 hours and can be used while charging so it's been fine for me. There's tutorials on how to mod it for a 600mAh battery (~250mAh stock), for more than 12+ hours of battery life.

I haven't had the need to mod it yet, but I will when the battery starts to go bad.

Sound quality is very good for Bluetooth when using a few EQ tweaks on Android and sounded great with iOS (no equaliser changes were needed for my tastes). Sound quality over the USB dongle was pretty average though, but that's to be expected with a radio based link.

It's a great headset and it's been $50 before at DSE which was when I got mine. I own too many headphones/earphones/inearphones and the H800 is the only one that I use regularly.

This is the cheapest it has been since then though.

      • Then I must have bought a lemon, mine lasts at best 2 hours on BT. I'll probably mod it then.

Using it with my Mac Pro on BT and using USB dongle with the VM (connect the usb dongle to the VM only) so I can use it either with BT or with the VM (windows). But I standby with the okay'ish sound quality - it's not a bad thing but I wish it could have more depth to it.

Bought it for $85 from online store - can't recall which one now..:|
