The RRP of AUD$199 appears to be genuine, and the next best price I could find was $162.50 + $15.75 shipping at Ryda Fitness.

This unit seems to be pretty comprehensive.
Take the time to have a look at the hardware/wireless/internet & software package features on both the CotD spec's page, as well as the link to the Ryda.com.au web page.

  • there was a cheaper version solder for $30 at 1day.com.au (but it is now sold out). I wonder how the 2 compare.

    • Have a look at what this unit does,, it's pretty comprehensive:
      * Remote temp' & humidity sensors
      * Wireless data link to PC software/internet features
      * 5 day weather forecasting
      * 2 panel display
      * Weather graph plotting and reporting (PC software)

      I've had a basic cheapie indoor/outdoor no-name gizmo for a while and I'm sorely tempted to get one of these Oregon units. I always browse through the Oregon Scientific displays at Australian Geographic's, and the one's I'm interested in are beyond my budget. This one might just change that…
