    quality brand sleeping bag

  • Regular only, no large :(

-1 deg C comfort rating, which is fine for most Australian non-alpine conditions. But it's 1.84kg which is fairly heavy for hiking, this would be more suitable for car based camping.

    • Indeed. I don't think i've ever seen Bear Grylls carrying around a sleeping bag.

      • +1

I wouldn't be surprised if Bear Grylls hunts ducks to pluck their feathers and make his own sleeping bag - then drinks their blood for a manly protein drink.

        • He always carries Nature's Own

        • @colinsi:

Yup. This sleeping bag is for throwing in the back of the car for tent camping trips.

The good old Kathmandu was/is myth. Show me someone who'll pay $250 for a synthetic filled bag rated to -1 and I'll show you a rich man with a good sense of humour.

  • You'd have to hope it's not wafer thin like the 5mm jackets and vests from their Peyto deal. Not happy about that Kathmandu. Looked to be all plush and puffy from pics. That vest is going back for a refund. Not to mention sizes being Asian sizing.

    • 5mm is half a cm thick that's not too bad. That's not exactly wafer thin. Now 1mm is wafer thin.

  • Just checked. Large size is in stock now.

But unfortunately it looks like the price has gone up to $80.

  • I'm getting 404 on deal link. Expired?

    • Indeed sold out. Expired.
