I am going to join Costco tommorrow and get some new 15inch tyres for my fully sick 1993 Toyota Celica. I am not that price sensitive - as a rule would you go Bridgestone or Michellin????
which one would have the smoothest ride and be most impressive to the ladies>?

If you go to Costco for tyres, can you please check the prices and brands they have for 205/65R15.
I am not a Costco member yet, but if they have a good deal on the tyres it may be worth joining.

Its a bit late, but if youre still wondering for next time, theyre 110 for michilin at that size. They didnt have bridgestone with my cars load rating (commodore vz).
Only seems about 10 cheaper, however they often have $70 off a set of 4. So for the whole lot i guess that 70 with the 10 bucks for each type adds up to a free tyre!

Yes I did - they were Bridgestones Ectopia and were about $130 per tyre
when i last looked, i would have got re002. but i ended up with ku39

Not too happy with Bridgestone though. Last 2 sets of Turanza ER300 only lasted 20000km. Not very good.
I know where you are comming from - I have had those Diamond Banks and they were fine.
