In my opinion this is one helluva bundle.

I can personally recommend Van Helsing for those PC gamers who are into ARPGs and Galactic Civilizations II for those who are into strategy games.

In the BTA tier Terraria has a lot of fans. I've been wanting King of Fighters for a while and again Crusader Kings II is another very solid strategy game for those with time on their hands.

I already have the Age of Empires bundle and obviously those are classics that have been remastered for modern PC's.

Adding to that, dead light is also a great action side scroller, bit like walking dead and prince of Persia (old school) had a baby. Also $14.99 on the store itself, so beating the average is awesome value for the games included and ones yet to come.

Oh now you speak silent Bob

Crusader Kings 2 is possibly the best single player strategy game ever made.

      • +3

Any game that can make an entire generation of gamers ponder "mmmmm should I kill my eldest child?" is certainly tapping into something very intense.

    • +3

How so? I can't see a truly bad game here.

      • Agreed, this is a great bundle.

  • +2

Deal just for even King of Fighters, alone it's $29.99 on steam, think it's been as low as $15.

    • It's been as low as $10.19 before (of course even at that historical low price it doesn't come close to the value for money at the current BTA price).

  • +3

Crusader Kings II is fantastic. For $5.25 with KOF and Terraria well worth it.

  • Deadlight…nice :)

  • Looks pretty good…

  • +1

I'd buy that for a dollar.

The 'more games' is for BTA orders? I only want Van Helsing 2 which I hope is what the unlock game will be.

    • +1

More games will be added to this bundle next Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Pacific!
If you pay more than the average at your time of purchase, you'll automatically unlock even more games when they arrive! Keep checking the site and prepare to be surprised and delighted!

    • My mind tells me I'm dreaming, but my heart says GCIII

  • I'm also waiting on what the more games will be

Is the age of empires worth $9 more?
I do like RTS games and have fond memories of original age of empires 2.

    • +1

Together with the rest of the games, I think it's worth it. Myself though, I've already got the whole AoE bundle (Humble Bundle $4 for AoE3 Complete, Amazon price error $2.50 for AoE2 HD + The Forgotten), so if I buy this HB, I'll probably only go BTA.

      • Together with the rest of the games

well it doesn't really work like that…

for the BTA tier to be "worth it" the games in the BTA tier need to be worth $AVG-$1, because the games in the first tier can be purchased for $1.

for the full bundle to be "worth it" the games in the third tier need to be worth $15-$AVG, because the games in the first and second tier can be purchased for the $AVG.

hence why the question was: "is the age of empires worth $9 more?"

      • nvm

  • ok, i'm in for BTA.

  • can i have them in cd keys instead of redeeming it straight to my account?

    • That's generally how the Humble Bundles work, they provide you a list of keys which you then copy/paste into Steam to redeem.

      • +1

They don't give you keys anymore.

        • Can normally email the spares to friends tho I think. Just u don't get a key have to go through humble bundle

  • +1

KOF13 is an amazing fighting game one of the best well worth the beat the average price.

  • +2

Anybody want my spares. Deadlight or Terraria?

  • Whatever happened to DRM free? :( Will be skipping this one.

    • +1

It's not the Humble Indie Bundle. I guess those ones are the only ones that will always be cross-platform and DRM-free.

  • +3

Don't forget for those Game of Thrones / A Song of Fire and Ice fans, Crusader Kings 2 has a mod to play in Westeros instead of Europe:

I was going to ask if CKII was the game I heard had the GoT mod.
Made me even happier I picked the bundle up. :)

    • oh wow, awesome! glad i grabbed the BTA!

  • Used to play Age of Empires all the time! Great game.
