As the title suggested , I am interested in getting phillips food processor which is selling at cosco for $214 , they are on sale at good guys and Harvey Norman for $249. I prefer to buy from Hn or good guys asi I would lie to purchase for an extended warranty.

Yeah that's the reason I posted the question. But I just found out that Costco has lifetime warranty on good purchased. I will go in and ask them on Wednesday .
They will tell you to add the $60 membership price to the item.
Given that you have the lifetime warranty thing happening with the Costco one, why would you even bother with paying extra for a couple of years at HN?
I only found out about the life time warranty after posting this question.

Just remember the Costco warranty only lasts for as long as your membership is renewed (or Statutory warranty which ever is longest).

You do realise you have to buy a membership to shop at Costco?
For this reason I would guess hn and gg would not price match? Would like to hear from anyone who has tried it.
