Got an email from Village Cinemas saying 4 Gold Class tickets available for 80$
Seems quite cheap and was able to access the link from another machine.

yeah seems like a waste of money, i've been waiting to use gold class tickets since christmas, nothing good at the movies yet.

I got the offer with VMC.. too short period to risk $80 - don't want to go Gold Class for the sake of loosing my money
Agreed, short period and limited session times is a deal breaker.

Why would anyone want to go to Gold Class alone? It's an experience you should enjoy with your loved ones.
Not sure why someone down voted you. Gave you a up vote. I can understand some people not agreeing 100% with your statement, but doesn't deserve a down vote.
Agree, it means you really need to buy two of these passes if you want your loved one to come with you.

The Gold Class Season Pass entitles one person to attend four Gold Class movies screening at any
Village Cinemas Gold Class location between Thursday August 21 and Wednesday October 1, 2014
(excluding sessions Friday and Saturday nights after 5pm). Each Pass contains four vouchers. Each
voucher is to be printed and surrendered at the cinema box office for a ticket, redeemed online or

It really was almost a good deal, except agreed that the short validity period, the exclusion of friday and saturday sessions after 5pm PLUS the $5 booking fee if buying online just kill the value.
It really annoys me that they charge $5 online booking fee when the system platform is already there and it costs them no more than any other online booking. In fact it saves them money on staff costs! Ok, end of rant.
Agree, especially when they only charge $1 booking fee for bronze class
The value in the deal is if you know there are basically 2+ movies coming out in the next couple of months you want to see and have someone like minded.

Just trying to work out the T & C's but can the season pass be used between 4 people for 1 movie? i.e. tomorrow want to go see a movie gold class with 4 people, can we buy 1 season pass and use it all in the one sitting for all of us?"

Hi. Thank you for your post. When you purchase the Gold Class Season Pass e-vouchers, you receive four separate barcodes which can be used in any combination you like. So yes, one Season Pass can cover four people for the same session. Please ensure you check and agree to the rest of the terms and conditions, including its validity, before purchasing. Thanks for that. On that basis I went ahead and purchased the pass and can confirm they come as 4 separate vouchers and are not tied to a name. Great deal given that.
They come as four vouchers and they can be shared. But unfortunately you cannot use a gift card to pay for them, and can only buy them online (saw someone on Monday unable to buy them at the cinema when hubbie and I were there)'.

Quite a short period to use them, and not all movies are shown in gold class.
I'm not sure how many people will benefit from this.
