Hi guys FF a realm reborn on ps3 @ jbhifi for $20 (in store)… PC is $34 and order only I think. I have it on PS4 and it is a great game and comes with 30 days play time.

FK that is what I should have done lol… sigh Makes it a ripper deal for those also after the PS4 version.
Do you know if you have to have the PS3 disc inserted to play the upgraded PS4 version? (like COD: Ghosts, BF4 etc required with their upgrade programs)

Considering the ps4 won't recognise a ps3 game, I doubt it.

Even though they can't play the games from the PS3 disc, those games with the $10 PS4 upgrade required the PS3 disc in the PS4 drive in order to play the digital PS4 copy so that people couldn't just buy the $10 PS4 upgrade and sell the physical PS3 copy.
Does anyone here play this? Is it good enough for $15 a month?
There's a free 14 day trial you should try it! I enjoy the game btw and subscribe.
I'd be more inclined to if I didn't have to pay $20 (or $50, when it released) to do so.
Well that's what a 14 day free trial (http://www.ffxiv-freetrial.com/us/) on the pc is for, to see if you would be inclined before buying this.

Yes, however when the trial is over and you want to play on both pc AND ps3 you need to own a copy of the game for each platform you wish to play on. If you only want to play on one you only need that one however.@Tihocan:
It's the same game with the same servers, so you can keep your character across platforms. The graphics are about the same - I found the PS3 version to be better, but it's a pain in the ass to type messages, so I had a keyboard plugged in anyway. You can play the PS3 version with a keyboard and mouse if you want to.
it's pretty good until end game where most of it is a rinse and repeat every week till the newer patches come out. I'd say try it out :) personally i quit after i maxed all jobs.
Ahh shouldn't of been on ozbargain before then I could've got this one instead of $12.

Damn ozbargain. Didnt really intend on buying this, but for $5 plus post, it was too cheap to say no.
So, I install this on the ps3, start it up then I can upgrade it free on my ps4 with my psn account?
