Weird Doritos Recipes?

Hi all,

Due to the recent sale, I am now in possession of a lot of Doritos.

Would be super to know any great recipes in order to put these to good use. I know a few ways to make them, after all I do have access to the internet, but I'm talking about the secret ways that probably only you know as you indulge the fatty greasy nachos in the dark, away from the prying eyes of civilisation. Or you know, just anything tasty.

A local cafe does doritos chicken which is very nice if you aren't concerned about your waistline: http://www.theblackpeppercorn.com/2013/04/doritos-crusted-ch…

    • Oh God yes. I will now make everything Doritos crusted. Don't have chicken but will try it with fish when I can.

      • do it, think of it as breadcrumbs. that taste like doritos.

  • Plain corn chips + ice cream… so good!

  • Even better than chicken fingers is an atomic parma:

Instead of bread crumbs, use crushed Doritos, a healthy slug of Tobasco and an egg to batter the chicken breast. Cover in cheese and tomato per a normal parma and cook. Add avocado to the top and you've got a wonderful nachos/parma hybrid. Serve with an appropriate beer.

I just had a ham sandwich and put some Doritos in the middle. Good stuff.

Having a look at Twitter for #Doritogate, I noticed this odd use of Doritos(Slightly NSFW maybe).

    • Probably the only appropriate use of Doritos.

  • I make nachos with them - pretty unorigional. Handy tho if I have cheese, a tin of john west chili tuna, some sort of salsa (or pasta sauce I prefer) and sour cream, in the microwave, all in the one bowl so its easy…

  • Speaking of weird doritos, does anyone know where I can find the mountain dew flavoured doritos.. It was only released in Japan but me and my mates is very tempted to try it our

  • I think some cheese drip would work well, really adds to the flavour with the gelatin and pizza stretch effect.

  • Doritos piled on plate, tin of baked beans mixed with a small tin of tuna with chilli (plus some herbs and spices if you like) poured over the top of the doritos. Nom nom nom…
