Amazon item not delivered yet.

Hi All,

This is my first post in the forum! I bought a Transcend 2TB USB 3 2.5" External Hard Drive, Military Drop Standards on 31 July (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/154944).

According to the shipment details my item should have been delivered by 18 August, but I haven't received anything yet. The only update in the tracking details for the last one month is: Your package has left Amazon facility and is in transit.

Please suggest me what should I do now? Should I wait more or contact someone? I haven't found any "contact seller" option on the Amazon.com like ebay.

Thank you very much!

Regards,

Faelon

I would definitely contact them. Would this page be helpful? https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/general-questions.… Other people might know more, I have only used amazon a few times myself. Tested this, seems like you can start a live chat session from this link.

I bought something from Amazon a few weeks ago and didn't receive it, I had a look on the site recently and I believe it says you have to wait until it's 25 days overdue before you can make a claim for it.

Having ordered more than a couple of times from Amazon, the last being 2 weeks ago, my last order took exactly a month to arrive. I don't know if they are exceptionally busy because of the sales they have been having, although dispatch is pretty quick, getting out of the US takes up to 10 days and clearing Australian customs takes approx. 10 days.
I had tracking till it hit Australia and then nothing till it arrived.

But, yes you could always contact them. When I contacted them, they suggested waiting a couple of days and sure enough it arrived 4 days later.

  • Thank you all for your replies. I will contact them tonight and see what happens.
