  Kinda missing the point of this service… Can you provide guaranteed uptime, high network throughput, etc?
  But, yes, it is expensive. Dedicated hosting in AUS is unfortunately.. Some great VPS offerings around though.

      …that's not the kind of uptime he means.
      
      Do you happen to have a UPS+generator backup? Redundant power feeds? What will you do if your utility power cuts out?
      
      What about network? Gonna be a joy to find static IPs with good throughput and reliability, let alone multiple redundant carriers. And any kind of SLA agreement at that level will be even pricier.
      
      When you pay for hosting in a DC, whether VPS, dedi or colo, there's far more than just the server hardware.
      
      That said, this particular one isn't really a bargain for dedi hosting, AFAICT.

What is the fine print? They will not be held liable if your data is hacked into on thier server and leaked out to the public?

  It's a dedicated server, if the server is hacked and data is leaked then it is your fault because you're responsible for the setup of the server. These are unmanaged dedicated servers so the only way that SAU would be liable is if someone physically broke into the datacentre or if the IPMI credentials were exposed due to their negligence.
