I got mine a while ago from a local JB-Hifi, cheapest is $49 on Staticice, but mostly excluding shipping. MSY has it for 49 as well, but it's too far from my place. Thought this will be good for people looking for a webcam now.

most places are selling this for 60 and above, it's just MSY that has it for 49 at the moment. Of course, it won't be a bargain for people that live near MSY but for me I live about 40km away. Instead of paying 69 at Austin or 65 at PLE, I'd take this anytime :)

Unbelievable. Just back to work after checking big-w/kmart/target/office works for a good but cheap webcam (2nd one to complement my other MS one) !.

My mouse died last night, and I wanted the microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000. Best price on Staticice is $44 plus delivery, so at $45 I'm happy. +1

Warning re Logitech Webcams.
The Logitech Webcam software can cause major problems with some email software.
This is a known bug in the Logitech software that is needed to operate their webcams and yet Logitech are showing no interest in fixing it. I found out the hard way after buying a Logitech webcam. I strongly advise anyone against this brand of webcam.
Their attitude in not seeking to fix it, via a software update, demonstrates a pretty slack level of customer care that actually now makes me fairly reserved in buying anything from them. Especially anything that needs software built by them. Where is there quality control and follow-up on reported bugs?
