  • You can contact the store directly once it's has been allocated to arrange for pick up and postage refund.

    • I wouldn't risk it. I think some people were denied the TGG postage refund from the eBay BBQ deal.

I have done it many times. And always get my postage refund.

        • +2

So have I but now they are refusing stating HO have instructed them not to.

        • @tonka: That's a potentially illegal thing to do.. I'm sure the ACCC would love to hear about that!

        • +4

          @ryang: How is it illegal?

I enter a contract to have something delivered.
It is an item they have offered for sale delivery only.
They decline to offer a different contract with different conditions. They will cancel and refund only.

The potential illegal thing is entering a contract to have something delivered when you have no intention of fullfiling that contract as a consumer.

Who knows why, their admin can't handle the paperwork to get refund from Ebay on delivery fee maybe. Sucks but it's their business.

        • -1

@ryang: I'm sure it's a way of recouping those high fees for selling on ebay.

        • -1

@tonka: A sale does not equate to a contract - we've learnt that from many bargains on here…

They will cancel and refund only.

Didn't you say they won't refund? So they refund the entire purchase - then you go buy it.. What is the issue here then?

        • @ryang:
1/Yes an agreement to buy something is a contract.
          2/Where did I say they won't refund?
3/The issue is your stating it was illegal, as in you brought the drama to the conversation.
4/Your argument is so disjointed that you are surely trolling

  • U sure they have this prixe instore as well?

    • See Note in the description. Of course, I can't be $100 sure since I'm not a rep.

  • i rang my local store and they said its only on ebay and via special order
