      The only reason I ask is that you post a lot of deals and some of them would take along time to put together

        Hi tith.

        I really can't reveal what my day job is. All I'll say is that it's very stressful, with a lot of demands. OzBargain is my escape. I know it may sound weird, but it keeps me sane. I look for deals during breaks in work.

        As far as making money from OzBargain goes, Scotty has been kind enough to run monthly awards, and I've been very fortunate to be on the receiving end a few times.

        The awards are secondary - I don't expect anything - I do this because I love it. Nothing gives me more pleasure than people commenting/voting/enjoying/bagging my deals. It's a real tonic.

        @tightarse: Whilst I love how your helping of others manages your stress, I'm sure I'm not the only one in saying this but stress in the workplace can never a good thing. I hope you can find someway in managing it well.

        Wasn't aware of the monthly rewards, great to see you and others are rewarded in someway.

        Ozbargain.com should have a commission based on positive votes for the like of youtube. I am sure Ozbargain.com is reaping the reward from google advertisement and should have enough to pass some on to poster like TA.

  Note to all: You have to "purchase" the complete album for it to be free. If you choose individual tracks instead of the full album, the individual tracks aren't free.

  Seems odd, but freebies often have some odd conditions!
