Not bad for it's price, maybe a bit slow on printing colour and a little pricey on colour toner but all round not a bad deal.

Estimate of toner replacement costs:

Samsung toner ~ $200 a set on eBay, $50-60 each per colour.

Generic toner ~ $170 a set on eBay, $30-40 each per colour. Sounds expensive for generic toner

    I have a samsung laser and a set of toners is more than the purchase price .
    "BlackAverage Cartridge Yield 1,500 *Standard pages (Ships with 700 pages Starter Toner Cartridge) *Declared cartridge yield in accordance with ISO / IEC 19798"
    Works out cheaper to buy a new printer than buying genuine toner cartridges . The genuine toners are ~$80 each and there are 4 of them .

      I did some calculations (couple of months ago) with non-genuine toners with their advertised cartridge yield and they still worked out to be approximately 10 fold more expensive than mid/high-end inkjet printers (with cheap/common non-genuine cartridges)

        If you print infrequently then you will benefit from a laser as the cartridge won't block up on you. Also I would highly recommend a networked [Ethernet] printer over a USB connection any day.

          Absolutely, network and wifi makes it so easy. I got rid of my useless Fuji Xerox as the driver were a nightmare, always showing printer as offline, etc. This one installed quickly and easily.

    I think they are about $43 a pop or $163 for a 4 pack and ships with a 700 black and 500 colour starter toner (replacements are normal 1500 black and 1000 colour).

    You can get a full set of Samsung genuine toner for $165.90 delivered from http://www.officetoner.com.au/samsung-p406c-value-pack-p-842…. I am using CLP365W purchased from a previous deal and it works a treat on wifi
